The use of plastic nets in the buttons of roses was initiative of the producers of Colombia that they searched to force its growth to be able to compete with the celebrities roses of the Equator that have climatic conditions and geographic ideals for its production, and they had started to compete in the markets before dominated by the Colombians?
The objective was only to push the growth of the buttons and in virtue of the nets facilitate the accumulation of dust in its entrails, they were always removed and the first damaged petals were elimitaded. Currently, only the Brazilian market commercializes the roses without removing these nets. This practical has as new objective, to prevent that the flowers open more quickly in virtue of our tropical climate.
